Submission Help

This section offers help on the paper submission process.

Anyone is free to submit a paper, although you should read the guidelines in the introduction to submitting a paper.

Use the following guidelines to help you through the submission process.

There are four stages to the paper submission process (with an extra stage if your paper has more than one author). At any stage you can move forwards and backwards.

At the final stage, you can review the details you have already entered, and go back and edit details if you so desire.

Licence

You must accept the licence to publish before submitting a paper. This licence allows the Presidents' Choice to publish your paper online.lice

When you grant the licence to publish, you need to be aware that you are granting the licence on behalf of yourself and any other authors of the paper, whom you will be asked to name later in the process.

Unless you accept the licence, you will not be able to continue to the next stage.

Personal Details

At this stage, you should provide the personal details for yourself, as requested. Fields that must be supplied in order to continue are marked with a star. If you do not provide these fields, you will not be able to continue to the next stage. A message asking you for any further fields will be displayed if you fail to provide required fields.

If you are not the only author of the paper you are submitting please make the appropriate selection. This will allow you to go on to enter the details of these other authors.

Other Authors

When you state that their are other authors for a paper, in the 'personal details' stage and click the 'next' button, you will be taken to a screen asking for details of these other authors.

Add details for each new author, and click the 'add' button. Again, required fields are marked with a '*'.

As you add authors, they will be summarised at the top of the page.

If you wish to edit any of these details, click 'edit' beside the author you wish to edit in order to display these details again. Edit the details, and click 'save' to save the details.

To delete any authors that you have already added, click 'delete' next to the author you wish to delete. The author will then be deleted.

To go back and edit your personal details, click 'back'

Paper Details

At this stage of the process, you are asked to provide details of the paper you are submitting.

Provide a title, and if your paper does not contain one, please provide an abstract.

You may also upload your paper, and if appropriate, associated files. There is a limit on the size of files that you can upload.

Uploading Difficulties If you cannot upload your file, or do not have files to upload, you may continue with the submission process.

We may contact you later in order to get a copy of your paper.

Reviewing Paper Details

The final stage of the process offers the oppurtunity for you to review the details which you have submitted. At this stage, you can choose to move back and edit any of the details that you have submitted.
